Visitation
Visitation Rules, North Central Regional Jail (West Virginia DCR)
This official WVDCR form sets out the visitation rules at North Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility in Greenwood, and illustrates the pattern used across West Virginia regional jails. Each inmate is permitted one visit per month; visits are 30 minutes, non-contact, and must be scheduled in advance. Visiting hours are Tuesday 3 to 8 pm, Thursday 8 am to 1 pm and Sunday 12:30 to 5:30 pm. Each visit is limited to one adult and two minor children or two adults, and inmates submit visit requests through the kiosk between 8 am Monday and noon Thursday for the following week; anyone not named on the request cannot visit. A visitor more than 15 minutes late is denied unless they called ahead. Minors need a notarised juvenile visitation form plus a birth certificate, and the notarisation cannot be done at the facility. Former inmates and convicted felons may visit only if they are immediate family, not the crime victim, and arrest-free for two years.
