Visitation
Visitation Information and Application Process (Utah DOC)
Utah's visitation page is a step-by-step guide covering how to apply, wait for approval, schedule and attend a visit at the Utah State Correctional Facility or Central Utah Correctional Facility. Visitors must be approved and must make an appointment; applications take six to eight weeks to process and are mailed or emailed to the visiting office, with adult visitors required to submit a renewal annually and minors removed automatically at age 18. A maximum of three visitors may attend a session, visitors 16 and older must present government-issued photo ID, and everyone must clear a body scanner and remove shoes. In-person visits are two hours at USCF and 90 minutes at CUCF, while video visits are 30 minutes, and the number of visits per month is set by the inmate's Privilege Matrix level, ranging from no visits up to 12 per month. The page also lists the full visitor dress standard and current facility visiting calendars.
