VA Veterans Justice Outreach Program (National)

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO) program identifies justice-involved veterans and connects them to VA services as early as possible, with VJO specialists across the country providing outreach and assessment to incarcerated veterans. Veterans who need help accessing VA health care can email the VJO specialist nearest them, and the program offers a toolkit based on the Sequential Intercept Model.
