Telephone Calls and Phone Applications (North Dakota DOCR)
North Dakota DOCR page on getting onto a resident's calling list and paying for calls. New residents arriving at the North Dakota State Penitentiary for orientation receive two initial five-minute telephone calls, after which all calls must be paid for by the resident or the approved caller. A completed and signed Telephone Application is required before any family member or friend can be added to a calling list, and the page offers both an electronic form and a printable PDF with mailing instructions. Residents buy phone time through their commissary account, or approved callers can set up a collect account with Securus. The page states that DOCR has no voice message line and staff will not pass messages, and that pressing option 6 during a call permanently blocks your number from that facility.
