Root & Rebound (California)

Root & Rebound supports people navigating reentry and works to reduce the harms of mass incarceration, connecting people with arrest or conviction histories to lawyers, advocates, and resources for employment, housing, family law, parole, and probation. Its California programs include a weekly reentry legal hotline and mobile legal clinics, with additional workshops, clinics, and direct legal services in South Carolina; 95% of hotline callers report it helped resolve their legal issues.
