Phone Calls, Messaging and Tablets for Families (Wisconsin DOC)

Wisconsin DOC's General Information page for adult institutions covers how families talk to and message someone in state prison. People in DOC care may only place outgoing calls; incoming calls are not allowed. ICSolutions is the contracted calling provider, and family or friends who want to accept calls set up a prepaid account online or by phone, with both in-state and out-of-state calls billed at a flat rate of $0.06 per minute plus fees and taxes. For electronic messages and photos, families create a free GettingOut account for people with ICS tablets or use CorrLinks for those still on ATG tablets; messages cost $0.15 each, are not instant, and are reviewed by staff, with both parties required to accept the contact request first and ICS providing three free messages a week. The page also lists approved property vendors and explains how to locate someone using the Inmate and Offender Search.
