Offender Phone and Tablet Information (Nevada DOC)
Nevada DOC page explaining how friends, family and attorneys receive calls and messages from people in NDOC custody. Phone and billing services are contracted to Viapath Technologies, and the page describes four account types: a prepaid AdvancePay collect account, a traditional collect account billed on your local phone bill subject to a 90-day rolling spending limit, an offender debit account purchased through commissary, and a direct bill account for attorneys and bail bondsmen only. Listed restrictions include limits on call length and calling hours, limits on monthly minutes, call monitoring, recording and offender voice validation, and blocks on selected numbers. A table gives the caller ID number for each facility so calls are not mistaken for spam. For tablets, the page points to gettingout.com for contacts, messaging and video visiting and connectnetwork.com for deposits, with support numbers for each, and explains how attorneys request non-recorded calls.
