Since April 7, 2021 all incoming general correspondence for adult residents must be on 8.5 by 11 inch white paper written or printed in black or dark blue ink, with a verifiable name and return address; resident mail goes to Maine State Prison, 807 Cushing Road, Warren ME 04864-4600 and cash may not be sent. No visitor except an immediate family member may be on more than one resident's visit list, applications are mailed to Attention: Visits at the prison, and clearances may take up to six weeks. Visits run Thursday through Sunday, 8:30 to 10:30 am and 1:30 to 3:30 pm, must be scheduled at least two business days ahead by phone at (207) 273-5526 or by email, and are capped at three visitors with children under four not counted.
