Inmate Mail and Money (Arkansas DOC)

Arkansas moved to a digital mail system on 15 September 2025, and this page explains exactly how it works. All non-legal mail must now go to Inmate's Name and ADC Number, ARDOC, P.O. Box 25918, Tampa, FL 33622, where the envelope and contents are scanned in colour and uploaded to the person's tablet. Items larger than 8.5 by 11 inches and non-paper items are not scanned, and originals are discarded 90 days after scanning unless the sender encloses a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage. Packages, certified mail, checks and money orders are returned to sender, and legal or privileged correspondence, media mail, books, magazines and subscriptions must still be sent directly to the facility. Senders are told to use black or blue ink only. The money section directs families to the online inmate banking service and warns that sending funds via Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or similar apps is illegal.
