Individual in Custody Deposit Services (Illinois DOC)
Illinois Department of Corrections page listing the approved ways to send money to a person in custody. Electronic transfers of up to $5,000 may be sent through JPAY or Send2Corrections (Western Union), while MoneyGram transfers using the blue Express Payment Form with receiving code 7364 are capped at $3,000. Every electronic transfer must use the individual's IDOC number and incarcerated last name; JPAY and Western Union funds are expected to post within 24-48 business hours and MoneyGram within 72-96 hours, and transfers during a facility move take longer. Money orders may not exceed $999.99, must be payable to JPay, and must be sent with the lockbox deposit slip to PO Box 260250, Hollywood, FL 33026 rather than to the facility. The page states IDOC no longer uses GTL (ConnectNetwork/ViaPath) for deposit services.
