How to Send Mail, Money, Books, Photos and E-Cards (Nebraska NDCS)
Nebraska NDCS page consolidating every way to send items to an incarcerated person. All personal mail such as letters, pictures and drawings is digitally delivered through the tablet's Facility Messages app and must be addressed with the complete facility name, Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, the individual's name and ID number, PO Box 247, Phoenix, MD 21131. Because originals are scanned, NDCS encourages senders to mail copies. ViaPath handles photos, emails, e-cards and money transfers; video grams up to 30 seconds start at $0.60, rising to $0.80 with a message, $1.00 with a photo and $1.20 with both. The page lists detailed photo content restrictions and notes rejected photos are not refunded. Funds, publications and packages instead go to the individual facility addresses shown in a table, and books must come from an approved vendor list maintained by the NDCS Legal Division.
