Digital Mail: How to Write to an Oklahoma Inmate (Oklahoma DOC)

Oklahoma Department of Corrections FAQ page on its digital mail program, which scans original postal mail and delivers it to the inmate's Securus account for viewing on a tablet or kiosk. Personal mail from family and friends must be addressed to the inmate's full name and ODOC number, Securus Digital Mail Center - Okla. Dept. of Corrections, PO Box 223566, Dallas, TX 75222-3566; legal mail, business correspondence, publications and documents requiring a signature go to the facility instead, and trust fund monies go to ODOC Offender Banking. The page says mail is typically available within three business days, that the service is free and senders may send as much as they like, and that mail remains accessible for the entire incarceration. It warns against felt tip pens, markers, sharpies and crayons, rejects items smaller than 4x6 or larger than 8.5x14, and notes that originals are destroyed after 90 days unless a self-addressed stamped envelope is enclosed.
