Access Corrections Secure Deposits is described as the preferred method, available 24 hours a day online at accesscorrections.com, through the Access Corrections app, or by phone on 1-866-345-1884 with bilingual agents. In person, some institutions allow a check or money order made out to the incarcerated individual with their commitment number to be dropped into an Inmate Funds box in the lobby, with money orders over $200 and all personal checks held seven business days, and Cash Pay Today locations accept cash only deposits. By mail there is a free lock box: checks or money orders with a completed deposit slip go to Secure Deposits - Massachusetts DOC, PO Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132, processed within 48 hours, with all check funds subject to a further 10-day hold.
