Contact an Inmate: Phone, Mail and Family Services (New Mexico Corrections)

New Mexico Corrections Department hub page for reaching someone in NMCD custody. It states plainly that inmates cannot receive incoming phone calls but may place outgoing calls to people on their approved phone list, and that the way to get added is to write to the inmate including your phone number so they can request your number be approved; phone use is governed by NMCD policy CD-150300, which is linked as a PDF. Personal letters go to the inmate's assigned facility using the addresses on the department's Inmate Mail Addresses page, legal mail may be sent directly to facilities, and mail must comply with policy CD-151200 Correspondence Regulations. The page also lists Family and Constituent Services for relatives needing help, with two direct phone numbers and a dedicated email address.
